This short-sleeved playdress is loose-fitting and short (mid-knee to above-knee, depending on your height). It's ideal on its own, as a beach cover up, or layered over a longer-sleeved shirt and skinny white pants. We can substitute other designs from the batik portion of this website for the starfish. Sizes are small (6-8), medium(10-12) large, (14 - 16), extra large (16 to 18) and 2X. These tend to be a bit snug in the hips so order accordingly. Color shown is "oxblood red", but you can substitute any other color you see on garments from this portion of the website.

Haltertop sundress with jellies

This 100 percent cotton jersey haltertop mini dress is ideal for hot summer days. This one is in sky blue, slightly marbled to give the look of water, with batiked jelly fish swimming around in it, front and back.
The dress has a built-in shlef bra, and self-fabric taped edges to the neckline all around th back. These dresses run small -- I usually take a medium but need a large in this dress. Available in S, M and L (but I suggest you order a size larger than you usually take).

This is a comfortable, short play dress (mid-knee to above knee, depending on your height), that can be worn alone as a sun dress, over a swimsuit as a beach cover up, or over a longer-sleeved T and slacks for a more layered look. 100 percent cotton jersey, preshrunk. Colors should not bleed. The play dress is available in small (6-8), medium (10-12), large (14-16), XL and 2X. It tends to be snug in the hips, so be sure to order your size accordingly. The color shown here is Cayman green, but you can have this dress made up in any of the colors and designs you see on this web-site. As each item is hand-waxed and dyed, no two dresses will be exactly alike -- colors may vary some, there may be some marbling of the color, and designs may be slightly different from what you see here. That's what makes these dresses unique.

This playdress is 100 percent cotton, loosely fitted and mid-knee to above-knee length, depending on your height. Color shown here is sunrise red. Like all our clothing, you can order in any design or color you like.

Iris and dragonfly dress in ash-blue

Like the other play dresses, this one is 100 percent cotton, loosely fitted, slightly above knee. The ash-blue color looks slightly lavendar, a very nice color for spring. A loose a-line shape, though this shows better on other pictures. This one would look great with a matching rayon sash to be worn at waist or around neck - rayon will absorb more of the dye, so it will come out a bit darker but matching. Rayon sash with just the dye is $8, or with similar batik pattern $25.

Like our other play dresses, this is 100 percent cotton jersey, slightly a-line but loose fitting to look nice either on its own, as a beach cover up, or layered over pants and longer-sleeved shirt.
